The "Trans-Caspian Forum 2026" will be held in Washington on June 10.
Medianews.az, citing "Report," reports that the forum will be held under the motto "Economic Security through Peace and Sustainable Partnership."
The event will bring together high-ranking government representatives of the USA and Caspian region countries, leading experts, and private sector leaders.
The focus of the discussion is the development of strategic partnership between the USA and the Greater Caspian region countries.
The forum will be attended by US Deputy Secretary of State Christopher Landau, Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan, Head of the Foreign Policy Department of the Presidential Administration Hikmat Hajiyev, Kazakhstan's representative for negotiations with the USA Yerzhan Kazykhan, Deputy Advisor on Foreign Policy Affairs to the President of Uzbekistan Javlon Vahabov, Adviser to the Minister of Economy of Azerbaijan Taleh Ziyadov, as well as other high-ranking representatives from the Caspian region.
According to the information, the agenda of the forum includes the region's strategic perspective and prospects for a new phase of Caspian cooperation, development of the Middle Corridor, digital sovereignty and industrial artificial intelligence, critically important minerals, energy security of the Caspian basin, development of nuclear energy in the region, as well as attracting investments to business projects along the Middle Corridor.
