Use of sanitary facilities at Baku Railway Station is paid.
Medianews.az, referring to İqtisadiyyat.az, reports that this information was provided by the "Azerbaijan Railways" (ADY) Closed Joint Stock Company.
It was stated that major repairs were carried out at the sanitary facilities of Baku Railway Station:
"Within the framework of sanitary-epidemiological requirements and to ensure hygienic conditions, a paid system has been introduced for the use of these facilities after repairs. Currently, this amount has been set at 50 qapik."
It was noted that during the previous periods when the sanitary facilities were free, an unsanitary situation arose due to irregular and improper use of these spaces, which caused rightful dissatisfaction among passengers: "With the installation of the turnstile system, such unpleasant incidents have been prevented, and control has been strengthened to ensure cleanliness and hygiene in the mentioned facilities."
It should be noted that currently this system is applied only at Baku Railway Station.
