Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro, who is imprisoned in the USA, addressed his supporters.
Medianews.az reports, citing "Qafqazinfo," that he posted on social media after a long time and expressed his gratitude for their support.
He emphasized that he and his wife Cilia Flores are well, strong, and calm.
Maduro stated that he receives letters and prayers from Venezuelan citizens and benevolent people worldwide. He noted that every word of love and support spiritually strengthens him and his wife.
Maduro also called for strengthening peace, national unity, and dialogue. He added that the country must follow a path of "reconciliation and respect."
Recall that on January 3, U.S. military forces launched large-scale strikes on 11 strategic targets in Caracas, the capital of Venezuela, and surrounding states. As a result of the operation, President Nicolas Maduro, along with his wife Cilia Flores, was captured and taken to New York. Venezuelan media reported that on the same day, a total of 57 people were killed, including 23 Venezuelan soldiers, 32 Cuban soldiers, and 2 civilians.
