In April, consumer prices in Turkey increased by 32.37 percent compared to the same month of 2025.
According to Medianews.az, the report released by the Statistical Institution shows price increases in education at 50.6 percent, in communal services at 46.6 percent, in transportation at 35.06 percent, in food and non-alcoholic beverages at 34.55 percent, in healthcare services at 33.02 percent, in alcoholic beverages and tobacco products at 29.96 percent, and in clothing and footwear at 9.66 percent.

From 2021 to 2025, the official exchange rate for 100 lira dropped from 22 manat 91 qəpik to 3 manat 96 qəpik; 2026 started with 3 manat 95 qəpik.
