The person who carried out an armed attack on a TV channel in Turkey was arrested

A detention order has been issued against the person who carried out an armed attack on the building of Turkey's "BeIN Sports" television channel located in the Ayazağa neighborhood of Istanbul. According to Milli.Az citing "Haber Global," Kamal S. has been found guilty of the charges "armed threat" and "violation of workplace immunity." It was also determined that the criminal's "weapon" was a toy. Recall that on November 11, around 11:30, an armed incident occurred at the TV8-Beinsport building located in the Ayazağa neighborhood of Istanbul. According to the information, Kemal S., who entered the building, claimed that a commentator at the channel insulted his wife, security guard Emine S., and demanded an apology from the commentator. Police officers who arrived at the scene negotiated with him and calmed him down after about half an hour. Kemal S. was taken out of the building and taken to the police station.
