Nail, an Azerbaijani whose life changed due to an accident in Turkey, touched everyone's heart - VIDEO

Another Azerbaijani participant has joined the Turkish actor Oktay Kaynarca's hosted show "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?".

Medianews.az reports, citing Qafqazinfo, that Nail Aliyev, who participated in the competition in a wheelchair, moved the viewers with his life story.

He said that he first went to Turkey in 2008 to study at university but had an accident with his friends in his second year: “While studying in the 2nd year at Çanakkale 18 Mart University, my spinal bone was broken as a result of a car accident and I became disabled. I was trapped inside the overturned car between the roof and the seat. During this time, my university education was left unfinished, and I started physiotherapy.

At that time, my sister came to visit me in Azerbaijan, and I met my future wife, who came with her. Our friendship that began from that day moved towards marriage. Later, I completed my university education in Azerbaijan and returned to Turkey.

I worked as a graphic designer at a private university. Currently, I work as a freelancer. I have a son. Before my son was born, there had been an earthquake in Hatay. When we saw children without parents on television, we thought that instead of bringing a child into this world, we would adopt those children and give them a home.

For this reason, we applied. Several interviews were scheduled. But they stated that a disabled person could not be given a child. After I prepared myself for this decision, the official recognition of my disability saddened me. Later, I had my own child. Since my wife works three days a week, I take care of my son myself. I continue my unfinished life with him, learn a lot from him, and grow up with him.”
