US President Donald Trump made a statement regarding the President of Syria.
Lent.az reports that according to the head of the White House, it is precisely with his support that Ahmad al-Sharaa currently holds his position. Trump stated that the President of Syria "is doing a great job," and also described him as a "tough man, a disobedient boy." In his opinion, these very traits yield good results in the governance of the country.
The US president added that he recently had a phone conversation with al-Sharaa and discussed the situation in prisons where the world's most dangerous terrorists are held.
