US President Donald Trump stated that Iran has agreed to hand over the enriched uranium at the facilities struck in June 2025 to Washington.

"They agreed to give us the nuclear powder. Because of the attacks we carried out with the participation of B-2 bombers, it was placed very deep underground," the US leader said.
It should be recalled that on February 28, Israel's Defense Minister Israel Katz announced that the Israel Defense Forces had carried out a preemptive strike on Iran. Later, US President Donald Trump stated that his country also participated in the military operation against Iran.
In turn, Iran fired dozens of ballistic missiles at Israel. The Israel Defense Forces confirmed the fire, sirens sounded within the country, and air defense systems were activated.
On March 1, Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei was declared killed during the attacks.
Iran launched missile strikes on most of the neighboring countries where US military bases are located. Due to this, airspace in those countries was temporarily closed.
At the same time, serious problems arose in the passage of ships through the Strait of Hormuz.
On April 8, a few hours before the deadline for the ultimatum Donald Trump gave to Tehran expired, Washington announced that it had agreed to a two-week ceasefire.
Later, the first meeting between the parties was held in Islamabad.
