U.S. President Donald Trump said he has great respect for Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko.
Musavat.com reports that he spoke about this before his business trip to Texas, responding to a question from journalists at the White House regarding relations between Washington and Minsk:
"We have good relations, and their leader is a person I have a lot of respect for. We have very good relations with Belarus. I like the leader very much."
