"At the wedding, when they say that such and such singer will also come, singing their song is considered rude."
These words were said by singer Nadir Qafarzade in the program "Midday". He spoke about the problems he experiences at weddings:
"There are also performers who are never satisfied with the microphone. A singer who comes after me says that they are in a hurry and asks if they can go on instead of me and sing two songs. Two songs sometimes last for one, sometimes two hours. I promised myself that I will not make any concessions to anyone. They say they are in a hurry, but then you see them sitting with their friends in the hall. Come on time and sing your songs. You cannot do this in foreign countries.
It is already known that there are monopolies in many fields. But in the music field, this situation is saddening. For example, you tell the organizer that a certain singer will perform. Supposedly, the administrator calls that singer and says, "Yes, you have a wedding." There is no communication with that singer at all. But if they are friends with another singer, then they criticize whoever you want and recommend their friend. Because 10 manats will go into their pocket from there. Many are deceived like this."
