The Telegram messenger will not work in Russia even when using a VPN.
Medianews.az reports that this was stated by Andrey Svintsov, deputy chairman of the Information Policy Committee of the Russian State Duma.
"Roskomnadzor has the technical capabilities to monitor VPN traffic. Telegram will also slow down through VPN. If someone thinks that everyone will download a VPN and continue using the messenger, I hasten to disappoint you - nothing will work," he said.
He noted that only legal VPN services used for media work in the country may remain./axar.az
