An attempt to bomb Sergey Shoigu, the Secretary of the Russian Security Council, was foiled at the Troekurovskoye cemetery in Moscow.
The terrorist act was planned on November 12, on the anniversary of Shoigu's mother's death, and was ordered by Ukraine. According to the investigation's version, the organizers involved a man and a woman addicted to drugs, as well as a Tajik migrant wanted in Russia on charges of murder and weapon possession, to carry out the explosion.
According to information, the foreign individual prepared an improvised explosive device, and the couple took it to the Troekurovskoye cemetery on November 11, a day before the anniversary, placing it next to the grave of Sergey Shoigu's mother, Alexandra Shoigu. When Shoigu visited the cemetery, a camera was installed nearby to monitor the situation and trigger the detonator.
It should be noted that on November 14, the Russian Federal Security Service released footage related to the defusing of the improvised bomb and the arrest of the suspects. (APA)
