North Korean leader's 13-year-old daughter prepares on his/her own behalf

North Korean leader Kim Jong Un is indeed preparing his young daughter Kim Ju En as his heir.

BAKU.WS reports that one of the factors leading to this conclusion is her extensive promotion in the media.

It is reported that Kim Jong Un's more progressive views towards women may have played a role in this decision.

It should be noted that there are hardly any doubts left that the girl is being prepared as an heir. From the early periods of Kim Jong Un’s rise to power, he has been known for a certain sympathy towards women. For example, he appointed a woman as the country's Minister of Foreign Affairs. Previously, it was practically impossible for women in North Korea to pursue a diplomatic career.

Furthermore, Kim Ju En’s role is specially emphasized at official events. When she and her father ascend the podium, the presenters introduce them collectively as "great leaders." The girl is still very young and Kim Jong Un may change his decision in the future. However, currently, her promotion campaign in the media has progressed significantly and she is at least at this stage the main and virtually the only real heir candidate.

Kim Ju En frequently participates alongside her father in military-themed events. This is intended to prevent possible future criticism about her lack of experience in military affairs.

It should be recalled that Kim Ju En first appeared before the public at the end of 2022 and has been shown about 600 times on Central Television since. It is known that Kim Jong Un has other children as well, but they do not appear in public. In contrast, Kim Ju En accompanies her father at numerous events related to the army and the military-industrial complex. This serves her presentation as a future leader. Some observers think that high-ranking bureaucracy and the generals might not accept a female leader. Therefore, her extensive promotion from an early age is aimed at weakening possible resistance.

Nevertheless, over the last 20-30 years, the role of women in North Korean society has significantly increased, and in this regard, Kim Ju En may not necessarily face serious problems in the future. The official name of the North Korean leader’s daughter has not been revealed. Within the country, she is referred to with honorary titles such as "respected child," "dear and precious child," and "guiding star of the leadership."

On February 12, South Korea's Yonhap news agency reported, citing the National Intelligence Service (NIS), that Kim Ju En is effectively at the stage of being appointed as heir. It was noted that she participates in events held on the occasion of Army Day, as well as visits to the Kumsusan Sun Palace, and participates in discussions of some political matters.

Kim Ju En’s exact age is unknown. However, according to South Korean intelligence, she was born in 2013. It was also reported that Kim Jong Un and his wife Ri Sol Ju have another elder son and a younger child whose sex has not been disclosed.
