A fire broke out at a facility located on Ə. Quliyev Street in the city of Salyan and in a passenger car of the "Chevrolet Cobalt" brand belonging to a citizen.
Medianews.az reports that the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) has issued information regarding this.
Forces of the Ministry's State Fire Protection Service were immediately deployed to the area.
While assessing the operational situation at the scene, it was determined that a traffic accident occurred when the car lost control and collided with a facility situated by the roadside, which has a total area of 60 sq.m. and is inactive, resulting in a fire.
The fire was extinguished in a short time thanks to the prompt intervention of the firefighters, preventing its spread.
As a result of the fire, the car's interior, engine, and the facility's roof covering over a 10 sq.m. area burned.
The remaining parts of the car and the facility were protected from the fire.
