Photos from the intensive care unit of the hospital in Baku where the poet Alisamid Kurun, who has had serious health problems in recent days, is being treated have been released.
Medianews.az reports that the photos were posted on social media by the poet's friend, president of the International Eurasian Press Foundation, Umud Mirzayev.
Umud Mirzayev stated that he visited the poet in the intensive care unit and concluded that, as a result of the doctors' efforts, Alisamid Kurun’s condition is hopeful: “The leadership of the Azerbaijan Writers' Union is also doing everything possible within its means to bring Alisamid Kurun back to our ranks. But the reality is that today for the poet to stay alive, it is necessary for his relatives, friends, the Azerbaijan Writers' Union, and state institutions to demonstrate solidarity and provide him with comprehensive support. Do not remain indifferent, friends.”

Alisamid Kur was born in 1954 in the city of Salyan into a teacher's family. In 1971, he graduated from secondary school in Salyan, and in 1981, he graduated from the Theater Studies faculty of the Mirzaaga Aliyev Azerbaijan State Institute of Arts.
