More than 500 UAVs have been shot down in Russian airspace.

Air defense systems destroyed 556 Ukrainian drones over Russian regions during the night hours, including more than 100 UAVs approaching Moscow.

This was reported by the press service of the Russian Ministry of Defense and Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin. Temporary restrictions have been imposed at Sheremetyevo, Vnukovo, Domodedovo, and Zhukovsky airports to ensure flight safety. According to the Federal Air Transport Agency, 93 flights were canceled and two more flights from Sheremetyevo were redirected to Nizhny Novgorod.

Andrey Vorobyov, governor of Moscow region, stated that three people died and five were injured as a result of one of the largest drone attacks in the Moscow region. In Khimki, a woman died after a drone hit a private house, and another person remained under the rubble. In the village of Pogorelki in Mytishchi, drone debris fell on a house under construction, resulting in the death of two men.

According to Sergey Sobyanin, 12 people were injured in the drone attack on Moscow and the Moscow region. It is reported that three residential buildings and a production factory were damaged, and construction workers were injured./AZERTAC
