Russian UFC fighter Azamat Murzakanov made a harsh statement against his next opponent Paulo Costa before the upcoming fight.
The fight between the athletes will take place on the night of April 12 in Miami at UFC 327.
Before the fight, Murzakanov wrote on social media: "On April 12, I will kill Paulo Costa. I will restore justice for all of Brazil."
After this post, the Russian unexpectedly received support from Brazilian fans. Many social media users actively supported the fighter, calling him "more Brazilian than Costa."
Murzakanov also reshared dozens of messages wishing him good luck, one of the most popular being a photo of him wearing the Brazilian national team jersey.
