Honored artist Sevinc Aliyeva complained about directors not inviting professional actors to series and films.
The actress, speaking on the program "Noon," stated that preference is now given to the youth:
"I regret that professional actresses are not cast. There are no invitations now. I'm troubled inside. Professional actresses should be invited. Directors should look and see what it means to cast professional actresses in motherly roles. Neither Naiba Allahverdiyeva nor I are invited.
Now they cast young people, teenagers. Maybe they don't know them, they don't watch theater performances. If they did, many things would change. Working with an actor is different. We didn't leave the libraries. Now there are social networks; they sit at home and read on the internet." (Axşam.az)
