An interesting and somewhat controversial claim has emerged surrounding the giant Spanish club "Real Madrid."
Medianews.az Reports via Musavat.com that the club's former nutrition specialist Itziar Gonzalez has drawn attention with a social media post. She stated that during her time working there, decisions regarding which dietary supplements to give to players were sometimes determined through ChatGPT.
Gonzalez claims that she specifically used the free version of ChatGPT to inquire about supplements deemed suitable for players and applied the recommendations she received in practice. According to her, while this approach sometimes sped up the decision-making process, it also sparked discussions.
It should be noted that Itziar Gonzalez worked as a nutrition specialist for Real Madrid's main team from 2021 to 2025. In addition to nutrition, she holds high qualifications in physiotherapy, osteopathy, and health.
No official statement has yet been issued by the club regarding the matter. However, the information spreading on social media has not been met with unanimous acceptance among fans and experts – while some view it as an innovative approach, others emphasize that such methods are risky in professional sports.
