A woman died after learning that the daughter of the Artvin province in Turkey was sexually abused.
Medianews.az reports that the incident occurred yesterday evening in the Şavşat district.
The suspect detained in connection with the incident has been arrested.
According to the information, a 26-year-old mentally disabled woman told her mother Nalan Kaya that she was sexually abused by a person. After that, the 53-year-old mother filed a complaint with the police.
Police officers briefly detained 49-year-old T.K., who was considered a suspect.
At that time, Nalan Kaya, who was at the police station, suddenly became ill. It was determined that the woman, who was taken to the hospital, had a ruptured aortic artery. Despite the doctors’ intervention, it was not possible to save her life.
The investigation into the incident continues.
