The match between "Huesca" and "Real Zaragoza" in the Spanish Segunda ended with a mass brawl (1:0).
Medianews.az reports, citing Publika.az, that the main instigator of the incident was the guest team's goalkeeper Esteban Andrada.
The scandalous episode occurred in added time of the second half. The 35-year-old goalkeeper pushed the home team's central defender Jorge Pulido in the chest during one of the plays.
For unsportsmanlike conduct, Andrada received a second yellow card and was sent off. This decision angered the Argentine even more, and he ran towards Pulido to take revenge. The goalkeeper punched his opponent and knocked him to the ground.
This incident led to a mass brawl involving members of both teams. As a result, the match referee also sent off "Huesca" goalkeeper Dani Jiménez and "Zaragoza" defender Dani Tasende.
In the end, the match continued and "Huesca" won by a minimal score – 1:0. Andrada, the main instigator of the clash, is awaiting a long-term suspension. The incident will be investigated soon by disciplinary authorities.
It should be noted that with 5 rounds remaining in the championship, "Huesca" is in 19th place with 36 points, and "Zaragoza" is in 21st place with 35 points. Both teams are fighting to remain in the elite league.
