The Prime Minister of Armenia has confirmed that he has reunited with his former wife.
Medianews.az, citing Sfera.az, reports that Nikol Pashinyan announced that he and Anna Akopyan have reconciled while answering journalists' questions at a press conference. The Prime Minister stated that when Anna Akopyan made a statement about their separation, although he respected her decision, he had not come to terms with the situation:
"When Anna announced her decision, I said I respected it, but that does not mean I accepted it. Of course, I also took steps to make the incident you mentioned happen. I am glad that happened, and we have gained a new chance to keep our family together."
It should be recalled that Anna Akopyan announced in February 2026 that she had separated from Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. Although the couple was not officially married, they had lived an unofficial family life for approximately 30 years. Anna Akopyan had long been known as Nikol Pashinyan’s wife. According to reports, the couple’s reunion came into the spotlight after they were seen together at a public event held in Gyumri a few days ago.
