Breaking the fast gradually and properly protects the gastrointestinal system and helps to fast comfortably.
Loading the stomach, which has been empty for a long time, suddenly with heavy foods can cause digestive problems.
To break the fast properly:
- Start with warm water. Prepare the stomach for food.
- Continue with dates, olives, salad, and greens.
- Take a 15–20 minute break. Then proceed to the main meals.
- Preferably start with soups.
By following these rules, you can fast comfortably, have a calm and gradual iftar, and protect your gastrointestinal system.
