In January-February of this year, the average monthly nominal salary in the information and communication sector in Azerbaijan was 1,915.5 manats.
Medianews.az, citing Milli.Az, reports that this information was released by the State Statistics Committee.
This indicator was 1,807.8 manats in the public sector and 1,982.3 manats in the private sector.
Compared to the same period in 2025, the average monthly nominal salary in the sector increased by 1%, including a 15.3% increase in the public sector and a 7.5% decrease in the private sector.
As of March 1, 2026, the number of employees working for wages in the sector was 33.5 thousand people, which is 0.6% less than the indicator from a year ago.
