The magnetic storm, previously predicted by scientists, has already started on Earth.
Lent.az reports that the information was released by the Solar Astronomy Laboratory of the Institute of Space Research of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
This is the third such event recorded in October.
According to the Institute's information, two magnetic storms have already been observed in October. One occurred from October 1–3, and the other on October 12.
It was reported that the level of disturbance in Earth's magnetic field has reached G1 on the five-point scale.
On this scale, G5 is considered an "extreme strong" storm, while G1 is considered a "weak" storm.
