On May 8, a barrel of Azerbaijani oil of the "AzeriLight" brand is sold for $105.55.
Medianews.az reports that this price is $16.71 lower than at the beginning of the month.
The oil market has been stagnating amid waves of tension between the US and Israel with Iran since February 28.
In Azerbaijan's 2026 budget, a barrel of oil is priced at $65, while "AzeriLight" started at $65.71 in January, $69.72 in February, $79.60 in March, $132.35 in April, and $122.26 in May.
