"The video information shared on social media claiming that 'a payment of 1000 manat will be made by the social fund to those born between 1932 and 2017' is false."
Medianews.az reports that, in response to APA's inquiry, information was provided by the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population.
"The information directs followers to a link in the profile to see the official list, etc., which may be an attempt to fraudulently obtain their card details and, as a result, their funds. We draw the citizens' attention: Do not be deceived by this fake information and do not under any circumstances access the link directed in the information," the statement said.
It should be noted that video footage regarding the matter has been circulating on social media.
