Medianews.az reports that this was stated in a statement by the Azerbaijan Media Development Agency (MEDAI).
"Such attempts that increase the risk of disinformation in the information environment aim to create confusion in public opinion. Media entities should show high professionalism in relation to the information flow on social networks and should not amplify content with dubious sources and manipulative character.
We call on all media entities, journalists, and public figures to refer only to official sources in their activities, to refrain from posts that cause distress in society, and to avoid cases of information manipulation," the statement emphasized.
