There has been a change in taxi prices in Baku. Taxis operating in suburban areas of Baku have increased their fare by 50 qapiks for several days.
Medianews.az reports that taxis operate from the "Koroglu" metro station area to Baku villages and surrounding settlements.
These cars, called "manatlı" by the residents, carry thousands of passengers every day in the direction of Yeni Ramana, Surakhani, Bina, Mardakan, Shuvalan, Gala, Zabrat, and Pirsagi.
The per person payment was 1 manat 8-9 years ago, and after 2023, it became 1 manat 50 qapiks.
In recent days, taxis operating towards Yeni Ramana, "Social Buildings," Bina, Zabrat, and Pirshagi take one passenger for 2 manats per trip to the residence.
After 11 PM and on rainy days, the price rises up to 3 manats.
Taxi drivers associate the price change with the increased service fee at the stand in the "Koroglu" area and frequent fines.//Metbuat.az
