A fire broke out in an open area by the roadside on the section of the Ələt-Astara highway passing through the Lənkəran district.
Medianews.az reports that the Ministry of Emergency Situations has issued a statement about this.
It was stated that immediately, forces from the State Fire Protection Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, Lənkəran District Fire Protection Unit, were dispatched to the scene.
Thanks to the quick intervention of the firefighters, the fire that erupted in the open area was extinguished in a short time without allowing it to spread.
