One person died as a result of a lightning strike at a beach in the state of Florida, United States of America.
The sheriff's office of Carmen Marseno issued an official statement on the social platform "X".
The statement regarding the unfortunate incident that occurred at Fort Myers beach notes:
"During the incident, four people were injured, at least three of whom were admitted to hospitals in the area... One of the victims sustained life-threatening serious injuries and passed away."
