Son-in-law's conflict resolution – Cared Kushner travels from country to country

The man started life 1:0 ahead: he was born in 1981 as the son of American real estate developer Charles Kushner. He scored the second goal himself in 2009: he married Ivanka, the daughter of Donald Trump, who would become the 45th and 47th president of the United States in the future.

Now he is the owner of Kushner companies specialized in real estate, a billionaire, and takes part in the process of resolving some of the world's most global conflicts – he withdraws from discussions about the Gaza conflict, goes to and leaves talks on Russia-Ukraine, shows interest in Greenland. Currently, he is one of the four members of the delegation sent by the US administration to Pakistan involved in the negotiation process with Iran.

His name is Jared, Jared Kushner. He is 45 years old. He has been in the White House since he was 36. Prior to this, from January 20, 2017, to January 20, 2021, he was the chief advisor to the 45th president of the United States, Donald Trump. In fact, it is said that since 2015, Jared has worked as Trump's campaign manager and trusted person.

Most likely, that is the case. Trump, who ran a large country like the USA as a family business or an Eastern satrapy, surely had to employ the closest and most loyal person in his close circle. Just as Ottoman sultans traditionally appointed their sisters' or daughters' husbands as grand viziers, Trump also had to do so. Currently, he is again an advisor to his presidential father-in-law.

The Kushners are lucky not only because they are related to the presidential family but also because they are among the Jews who lived in Europe during 1939-45 and survived the Holocaust (Hitler’s genocide of Jews). Jared’s grandfather and grandmother fled from Belarus to Hungary, so they were not among the 6 million people killed by the Nazis; they married in Budapest in 1945 and emigrated to the USA in 1949.

Jared himself was born into a wealthy family and received a good education, graduating from Harvard University in 2003 with a bachelor's degree in public administration. In 2007, he also earned a law degree from New York University.

Like his father-in-law, who has many legal problems, Jared’s father was arrested in 2004 on several charges, including tax evasion, and was sentenced to two years in prison.

The Kushners were previously close to the Democrats and participated in the party’s financing; after becoming relatives of Trump, they began to favor and donate to Republicans. Jared is one of his father-in-law’s fervent defenders, does not tolerate criticism of him, and invariably blames journalists in Trump’s media disputes.

Currently, this 45-year-old is one of the five most famous and most frequently mentioned political figures in his country.

He also has a companion: Steve Witkoff. Together, they resolve global conflicts.

More precisely, the Kushner-Witkoff duo has not resolved any conflict yet; they just travel from country to country, attend meetings that last for hours, listen to parties that have become enemies of each other, guide the parties based on instructions received from Trump and his team of analysts, and then return to Washington without achieving any results.

At one point, Jared Kushner supervised the US’s relations with Israel. The process of preparing the "Deal of the Century" project to resolve the Palestinian-Israeli conflict went under his supervision. The “Abraham Accords,” which provided for normalization of relations between Israel and several Arab states, were also completed with Jared Kushner’s direct participation.

Perhaps in time he will become a diplomat or strategist who will make great contributions to his country’s political life like Henry Kissinger or Zbigniew Brzezinski, but for now, Jared Kushner simply counts himself as Trump’s dear son-in-law.

The most serious person in the delegation represented by Jared Kushner and Steve Witkoff is Charles Bradford Cooper. He is an admiral of the US Navy, and since August 2025, he has served as the commander of the US Central Command. In February 2026, amid escalating regional conflict, Admiral Cooper presented possible military options against Iran to the US president.

In other words, the admiral who has fanned and inflamed this war is now in Pakistan trying to resolve it through negotiations.

Let us see whether an optimal solution to the conflict will be found in these talks. Intuition leans toward the "will not be found" option.
