An interesting and different wedding ceremony was held in the Esenyurt district of Istanbul. The couple Behçet Demir and Dilara Eren attracted attention by holding their wedding ceremony on horseback.
According to information from Medianews.az, the couple met some time ago at a municipality-owned equestrian center.
After deciding to marry, they chose to hold a different wedding ceremony that reflected their shared interests instead of a classic wedding ceremony. The couple, riding horses dressed in a wedding dress and groom's suit, attracted the interest of the ceremony participants.
The groom, Behçet Demir, stated that choosing a horse as the witness was also planned, but this proposal was not accepted. "Getting married on horseback was important to me. My spouse is also a good rider and supported this idea. We wanted to make the witness a horse, but it was not allowed," he noted.
The bride, Dilara Eren, emphasized that this place has a special meaning for them: "We met exactly here. That’s why we wanted the wedding to be held here as well."
