"Men are no longer ashamed; they come and say it directly."

Plastic surgery is no longer a taboo subject for men. Increasingly more male patients not only settle for facelift surgeries but also turn to surgeons to solve other problems.

Milli.Az reports that plastic surgeon Oleg Snigir spoke about which surgeries will become normalized among men in the near future and why this trend will strengthen.

According to the expert, surgeries related to facial aging signs in men have always been popular. They mainly work around the eyes and the lower part of the face. They eliminate hernias under the lower eyelids, correct drooping upper eyelids, and adjust the facial oval and neck line.

"We perform lower face lift surgeries, correct the neck, eliminate sagging in the cheeks, form a clearer oval, and achieve a rejuvenating effect," explained Snigir.

Now, endoscopic face lifting has been added to the classic aging surgeries. Whereas previously large incisions were made behind the ears, now surgeons prefer minimally invasive methods.
"This year, next year, and in subsequent years, men will increasingly choose endoscopic face lifts. Doctors make small incisions of a few centimeters and through them perform endoscopic lifting of the middle and upper face, making the face look younger," the specialist said.

When necessary, this surgery is complemented by blepharoplasty. As a result, the intervention becomes more technological, incisions decrease, and rehabilitation becomes much easier and shorter.

According to the surgeon, the second direction that has truly "exploded" in recent years is male liposculpture, i.e., athlete lipomodeling. Men want to be toned and lean and achieve an athletic figure without spending long periods in the gym. Surgeons "draw out" the relief the patient will work on for a long time themselves.

"Many men already have muscles, but it is difficult to get clear relief without daily intense workouts and careful control of water and nutrition. That's when surgery helps. We perform male-type lipomodeling: we reduce subcutaneous fat cells and create athletic relief. In fact, the long 'cutting' effect in fitness is formed only by surgery," explained the specialist.

Another type of surgery is the "belt" at the waist. Many frequently come with this complaint. The waist widens, a lot of fat accumulates on the sides and abdomen, the skin stretches, and the abdomen begins to sag. In such cases, they remove excess subcutaneous fat, perform abdominoplasty, remove excess skin, and form a straight, strong, beautiful figure.

Sometimes men want to tighten the buttocks simultaneously. Lipofilling is done for the buttocks, creating smooth transitions and proper contours. Women know well which zone they look at on the male figure, and men also understand this and want to look better, Snigir noted.

According to him, one can now speak of a real boom in male contour surgeries. "Men are no longer ashamed. They come directly and say: 'I want a flat stomach, remove the fat.' We solve this problem," the surgeon concluded his thoughts.
