Candidates for the position of chairman of the Azerbaijan Filmmakers' Union have been announced.
Medianews.az reports that according to the information obtained by APA, there are two candidates for the chairman position - People's Artist Shafika Mammadova and director Ali Isa Jabbarov.
The Filmmakers' Union intends to announce the names of the candidates for chairman to the press closer to the congress date.
The congress will be held on May 26.
Recall that the chairman of the Azerbaijan Filmmakers' Union, Rasim Balayev, passed away on March 29. Currently, the duties of the chairman are being performed by Shafika Mammadova, and Ali Isa Jabbarov is the organization's secretary.
