Medianews.az states that it has been confirmed that Amid Murtuzov is Azerbaijani. His father's name is Elidir.
Already, on the Azerbaijani segment of social networks, regretful statements from people who personally knew Amid Ali oglu Murtuzov are appearing.

At first glance, the name Rustam Ghulomov gives the impression that he is from the former Soviet republics of Central Asia. However, if this name is Rustam Ghulamov, then he could also be Azerbaijani.
The "Times of Israel" publication notes that both individuals are around 40 years old, live in the city of Petah Tikva, worked as laborers in construction in Or Yehuda, and did not enter the shelter during the rocket attack. It is also emphasized that dozens of workers in the same construction site entered the shelter and thus were saved.
