Gideon Saar harshly criticized European countries for their approach to the situation in the Middle East.
Israel's foreign minister stated that European leaders do not give a realistic assessment of the events.
"Europe is like an ostrich burying its head in the sand. They lecture Israel from air-conditioned offices," Saar said.
The minister added that although some European politicians try to present Israel as a "colonial project," he emphasized that the Israeli people are the indigenous inhabitants of these lands.
He also touched on the Hezbollah issue, stating that this group is the main problem in relations between Israel and Lebanon.
"There is no serious disagreement between Israel and Lebanon. The problem is Hezbollah. Israel's security problem is actually Lebanon's sovereignty problem," Saar emphasized./modern.az
