In Iran, 27 people have died in protests that have resumed in recent days.
This information was provided by Hossein Sadeqi, head of the information center of the Iranian Ministry of Education.
He noted that among those who died in the recent riots were five teachers and 22 students.
It should be noted that the protests in Iran resumed on February 21, the first day of the new academic term.
Students from several universities in Tehran gathered on their campuses and chanted slogans against the government. Some students holding placards demanded the release of their comrades who had been detained by the authorities during the January protests.
