Consecutive earthquakes in Iran

Today, two earthquakes occurred two minutes apart in the city of Pardis, located east of Tehran.

This was reported by "Mehr News."

According to seismological data, the first earthquake occurred at 12:21 with a magnitude of 2.6 on the Richter scale. The epicenter of the underground tremor was located at a depth of 9 kilometers.

The second earthquake was recorded at 12:23 with a magnitude of 2.9. The epicenter of this earthquake was at a depth of 7 kilometers.

Both earthquakes are considered relatively weak.
