The US military aggression against Iran will not be limited to a war between two countries but will turn into a large-scale regional conflict.
APA, citing the Tasnim agency, reports that this was stated by the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Ali Khamenei.
The agency quoted him as saying: “Americans should know that if they start a war, this time the war will be on a regional level.”
He added that the Iranian people should not fear the statements by US President Donald Trump regarding the large-scale shipment of weapons to the Middle East. “We do not start wars and have no intention to attack any country. However, the Iranian people will respond harshly to anyone who attacks and harms Iran,” the Iranian leader emphasized.
It should be noted that on January 26, President Trump announced that “a huge armada” was moving towards Iran. He expressed hope that Tehran would sit at the negotiation table and sign a “fair and equitable” agreement that includes full renunciation of nuclear weapons. The US leader recalled that last June the US struck the nuclear facilities of the Islamic Republic of Iran in an operation called “Midnight Hammer.” Trump warned that “the next attack will be even heavier” and called “to prevent it from happening.”
