"The Islamabad talks yielded no results, but diplomacy continues."
According to Iran's "Tasnim" agency, this was stated by the Foreign Ministry spokesperson Ismail Baqaei.
"We reached agreement on some issues. However, there were disagreements on 2-3 important matters, and as a result, no agreement was reached in the talks," the Foreign Ministry spokesperson added.
Baqaei also stated that this phase of talks is the longest in the past year, lasting a total of 24 or 25 hours.
According to the Foreign Ministry spokesperson, the talks took place after a difficult 40-day war, in an atmosphere of distrust and suspicion. Therefore, he stated that it was not expected for these talks to conclude in a single session./apa
