The former wife of Turkish singer İbrahim Tatlıses, Ayşegül Yıldız, has joined politics.
Medianews.az reports that she has become a member of the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP).
Ayşegül Yıldız, who was married to İbrahim Tatlıses from 2011 to 2013, has come to the agenda this time with her political activity after a long time. She attended MHP’s group meeting held in the Turkish Grand National Assembly and met with the party leader Devlet Bahçeli there.
In a video shared on her social media account, Yıldız described Bahçeli’s speech as a “historic and horizon-opening speech.” She stated that she attended the meeting together with local organizations of MHP and had the opportunity to meet Devlet Bahçeli after the event.
Ayşegül Yıldız noted that during the Ankara program they also visited Anıtkabir. In her post, she emphasized that they respectfully commemorated the memory of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the founder of the Republic of Turkey, and that they will remain loyal to his ideas.
