Interesting details have been revealed in the court case of Azerbaijani blogger Huseyn Hasanov living in Russia.
Medianews.az reports that a person who appeared as a witness in the case stated that the blogger formally sold him an apartment located in "Moscow City" in exchange for "cookies."
According to the witness, Hasanov offered to register the real estate in his name. Although the man tried several times to refuse this offer, the blogger presented documents confirming that he had no debt to the state.
It is reported that the payment was supposed to be made through a bank safe deposit box. However, the witness claims that instead of money, "cookies" were placed in the safe.
The contract indicated the price of the apartment as 60 million rubles. The blogger’s brother, Anvar Hasanov, participated in the transaction as a trusted person.
Recall that in February this year, the prosecutor’s office approved an indictment against Huseyn Hasanov on charges of legalization (money laundering) of funds obtained by criminal means. The blogger was arrested in absentia and sought.
Hasanov does not accept the charges brought against him. //BAKU.WS
