Off the coast of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), in the Strait of Hormuz, a tanker was subjected to an unknown attack.
According to the UK Maritime Trade Operations Center (UKMTO) of the British Royal Navy.
"UKMTO received information about an incident 78 nautical miles (125.9 km) north, in UAE territory. The tanker was fired upon with unknown origin shells," the center stated on its social media account.
It is noted that the crew is safe and there was no environmental damage during the incident. /oxu.az
