According to information provided to Medianews.az by the National Hydrometeorology Service, thunderstorms occasionally occur in some parts of the country, rain is falling, and snow is falling in Shahdagh. In some places, it is intense.
Since the morning hours, rain is also observed in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula.
The amount of precipitation falling in the districts of the republic is recorded as 8 mm in Lerik, 6 in Zagatala, 4 in Gakh and Tovuz, 3 in Sadarak, Gadabay, Aghstafa, and Jeyranchol, 2 in Lankaran, Astara, Yardimli, Altiagach, Sheki, and Balakan, and up to 1 mm in Quba, Dashkasan, Shahdagh, Shamakhi, Gobustan, Qusar, Khachmaz, Imishli, Khaltan, Shabran, Goychay, Zardab, Kurdamir, Sabirabad, Shahbuz, Kalbajar, Lachin, Qubadli, Shusha, Khankendi, Khojaly, Fuzuli, and Ordubad.
Fog is observed in Neft Dashlari, Balakan, Dashkasan, Altiagach, Qusar, Goygol, Sheki, Shamakhi, and Khaltan, limiting visibility to up to 500 meters.
The maximum air temperature was recorded up to 19 degrees in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula, 27 in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, 23 in the Aran districts, and 16 degrees in the mountainous districts.
