According to the official report, in September, prices in the consumer market of Georgia increased by 4.8 percent compared to the same month of 2024, but communication services fell by 4.2 percent, furniture and household items by 3.7 percent, transportation by 2.1 percent, clothing and footwear by 2 percent, and recreation and cultural services by 1.3 percent.
Medianews.az reports that the National Statistics Service indicates a price increase of 11.9 percent in food and non-alcoholic beverages, 9 percent in healthcare services, 7.1 percent in hotel and public catering services, 4.1 percent in alcoholic beverages and tobacco products, 2.8 percent in education, and 0.9 percent in communal services.
