According to the report of the National Statistics Service of Georgia, in October, prices in the country's consumer market increased by 5.2 percent compared to the same month of 2024.
Medianews.az reports that the price increase in food and non-alcoholic beverages is 11.7 percent, in healthcare services 8.9 percent, in hotel and public catering services 7.3 percent, in alcoholic beverages and tobacco products 5.6 percent, in education 2.1 percent, and in communal services 0.4 percent.
It is reported that telecommunication services decreased by 4.2 percent, furniture and household items by 2.2 percent, recreation and cultural services by 2.1 percent, transportation by 0.8 percent, and clothing and footwear by 0.7 percent.
