Strong explosions on the sun It will continue until 2028

By the end of 2026, approximately 5-10 X-class explosions on the Sun's surface are expected to be recorded.

Oxu.Az reports that this information was released by the Institute of Space Research of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

According to the information from the institute, M and X-class Solar flares are expected to be observed until around 2028. After this date, they will subside. It is expected that there will be another 5-10 X-level flares this year.

Solar flares are classified into five main groups based on the intensity of the X-ray radiation they emit: A, B, C, M, and X. The lowest level, A0.0, is equivalent to a radiation power of 10 nanowatts per square meter in Earth's orbit. With each transition to the next letter, the power increases tenfold. Such eruptions usually result in the ejection of solar plasma masses, which can cause geomagnetic storms upon reaching Earth.
