A tragic traffic accident occurred in Ecuador.
The former beauty queen, 27-year-old Shamel Alejandra Alava Zambrano, has died.
The incident was recorded in the city of El-Empalme. Zambrano was traveling in a pickup truck with her husband when another car collided with their vehicle. In the accident, a total of six people were injured, but doctors could not save Zambrano's life.
Zambrano was the winner of the El-Empalme beauty pageant in 2015. According to her relatives, she got married in December 2024 and dreamed of being elected mayor of her hometown in the future.
