Placement of goods in a temporary storage warehouse will be carried out by individuals based on a simplified declaration submitted by them and an act drawn up by customs authorities.
The mentioned issue is reflected in the draft amendments proposed to the Customs Code.
The duration of stay of goods in temporary storage warehouses will be determined by customs authorities for a period not exceeding one month, taking into account their characteristics.
The placement of food products brought into the customs territory by individuals in quantities exceeding the limit established by the relevant executive authority, and not intended for production or commercial purposes, in temporary storage warehouses is not allowed. In this case, the goods must either be returned from the customs territory or destroyed in the presence of an official of the customs authority, based on the choice of the individual.
If it is not possible to immediately remove goods prohibited from being brought into the customs territory, the maximum storage period of such goods in a temporary storage warehouse is three days./oxu.az
